The film JHOLA based on story by Krishna Dharabasi, has been out of Oscars’ race. The film had laid its claim as ‘Best film in foreign language’ representing Nepal. The film Directed by Yadavkumar Bhattarai.
The film’s journey in the Academy Awards ended after the Oscars Selection Committee didn’t shortlisted the film on Saturday. Not only of Nepal, no movies of Asia made to top nine.Top five nominations out of nine will be made public on January 15.
