
NCFT Selects 31 Models From Nearly 200 Applicants for Graduation Fashion Show
Namuna College of Fashion Technology (NCFT) has finalized 31 models for its highly anticipated 21st Graduation Fashion Show, Anantarūpavitānam – The Infinite Tapestry of Expressions, set to take place on 10 October 2026 at The Plaza, Pulchowk, Lalitpur.
The model auditions drew an impressive response, with nearly 200 aspiring models from across Nepal competing for a place on one of the country’s prominent academic fashion runways. Following an extensive evaluation process, 31 models were selected to bring the graduating designers’ creative visions to life on the runway.
The audition panel evaluated participants on professional criteria including runway technique, confidence, posture, stage presence, expressions, personality, adaptability, and overall presentation.
The selection process also considered how well each model complemented the designers’ individual concepts. Garment silhouettes, design details, fabric characteristics, colour palettes, styling requirements, and the overall aesthetics of the collections were among the factors considered while finalizing the lineup.
Five Male and 26 Female Models Selected
The five male models selected for the show are Sarad K.C., Aashutosh Lamichhane, Alvin Prajapati, Bibek Khadgi, and Kapil Neupane.
The 26 female models are Adriana Wagle, Nisha Shrestha, Siwani Adhikari, Riya Darnal, Sugandha Adhikari, Anuska Karki, Sneha Tamrakar, Aayushma Tamang, Bisakha Dangol, Yajju Karmacharya, Khusi Bohara, Liza Shrestha, Anita Shrestha, Suvangy Lohani, Priyanka Oli, Venus Khawas, Dibya Karki, Amisha Shrestha, Pooja Achami, Prerana Chaudhary, Princess Malla, Pranisha Rai, Sammridhi Khadka, Nirishma Shahi, Tika Ghimire, and Trisha Chemjong.

‘Cosmic Threads of Heritage: Nepal Beyond Time and Universe’
This year’s graduation fashion show is built around the theme “Cosmic Threads of Heritage: Nepal Beyond Time and Universe.”
Its Sanskrit title, Anantarūpavitānam, represents the idea of limitless expressions of beauty, identity, culture, and creativity connected beneath a shared cosmos.
The showcase will feature six exclusive collections, 54 original fashion ensembles, and six conceptual masterpieces, all designed and developed by the 54 graduating designers of NCFT’s 21st Batch.
The graduating students are also taking responsibility for organizing and managing the fashion show, making the event both a creative showcase and a practical demonstration of their professional training.
A Platform for Nepal’s Emerging Fashion Talent
For more than two decades, Namuna College of Fashion Technology has played a significant role in fashion education in Nepal, nurturing designers, entrepreneurs, educators, stylists, and other creative professionals.
Its annual graduation fashion show has developed into a platform where academic learning meets professional fashion practice, giving emerging designers and aspiring models an opportunity to showcase their abilities before the industry and wider audience.
With preparations now gathering momentum, Anantarūpavitānam is set to bring together fashion, craftsmanship, heritage, and contemporary creativity while placing the next generation of Nepal’s fashion talent in the spotlight.
