Mukti & Revival to Perform in Australia and New Zealand for 30-Year Celebration

Nepali blues-rock legends Mukti & Revival are set to take their three-decade musical journey to fans in Australia and New Zealand with a special 30th anniversary tour in 2026.

Led by iconic frontman Mukti Shakya, the band will celebrate 30 years of music, memories and timeless Nepali blues-rock with audiences abroad. The tour is expected to bring together longtime followers and a new generation of listeners who have grown up with the band’s powerful sound.

According to the official tour page, the Australian leg includes stops in Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Hobart, Adelaide, Brisbane, Darwin and Perth. Dates and venues for these cities are currently listed as TBD.

The New Zealand stop has also been announced. Mukti & Revival are scheduled to perform in Auckland on Sunday, 5 July 2026, at The Tuning Fork.

Known for blending Nepali folk influences with blues and rock, Mukti & Revival remain one of Nepal’s most respected live bands. Their songs continue to connect with listeners across generations, carrying stories of emotion, struggle, nostalgia and Nepali identity.
