Nepali rapper Samir Ghising, widely known as VTEN, faced an unexpected disruption during his concert in Denmark after multiple physical fights broke out among the audience, forcing organizers to halt and eventually cancel the show midway.
The incident took place on May 23, 2026, during the +977 Festival, also known as Copenhagen Nepal Fest, held at Ishøj Beach in Copenhagen, Denmark. The concert was part of VTEN’s ongoing 2026 Europe tour, which has been drawing large crowds of Nepali audiences across different countries.
According to videos and eyewitness accounts circulating on social media, the situation turned chaotic while VTEN was performing on stage wearing an FC Barcelona jersey. During one of his performances, a violent altercation reportedly erupted among sections of the crowd near the front area of the venue.
As the situation escalated, event organizers and security personnel quickly intervened to prevent further violence. Videos now going viral on TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram show security staff stepping onto the stage and taking away VTEN’s microphone while the rapper appeared visibly frustrated by the interruption.
Sources close to the event claim VTEN wanted to continue performing and complete his scheduled set despite the disturbance. However, organizers reportedly decided to stop the concert entirely after assessing the safety risks inside the venue.
The atmosphere grew even more tense after the show was halted. Audience members could be heard loudly chanting “VTEN chahiyo” (“We want VTEN”) as security teams attempted to control the crowd and escort the artist backstage. Despite strong crowd support, security personnel ultimately refused to allow VTEN back on stage.
No serious injuries have officially been confirmed as of now, though several videos from the venue show pushing, shouting, and physical confrontations among attendees. Organizers have also not yet released a detailed public statement regarding the exact cause of the clashes.
The viral incident has quickly become a major talking point among Nepali communities in Europe and on social media platforms. Many fans expressed disappointment over the cancellation, while others criticized the behavior of individuals involved in the fight for ruining the event experience.
VTEN remains one of Nepal’s most influential and controversial rap artists, known for hit songs that connect strongly with younger audiences. His concerts across Europe have recently seen massive attendance, reflecting his growing international fanbase among the Nepali diaspora.
Despite the disruption in Denmark, fans are still eagerly awaiting the remaining shows of his Europe tour, hoping future events can be conducted more safely and smoothly.
