Himali Culture Group Melbourne, in collaboration with Events Nepal Australia, has officially announced the launch of the “Mrs. Nepal Australia” pageant, a competition dedicated to empowering married Nepali women residing in Australia. Applications for participation are now open. This marks the first time Himali Culture Group is hosting such an event, designed specifically for Nepali women who have settled in Australia and are actively engaged in various professions.
This platform is not just a beauty pageant, it aims to uplift women by fostering self-confidence, personal growth, communication skills, and leadership development. Recognizing the importance of these qualities in today’s world, the program is designed to guide and inspire participants to utilize their potential, step into global roles with purpose, and contribute meaningfully to promoting Nepal’s tourism industry worldwide.
For the past decade, Himali Culture Group has been organizing cultural, social, and entertainment-based events in Australia to strengthen the connection between Nepal and the Nepali Diaspora. From this year onward, the organization will run the Mrs. Nepal Australia competition annually in partnership with Events Nepal Australia.
The competition will feature 30 selected contestants, chosen through an open application process. During their grooming phase, participants will receive professional training in fitness, Zumba, aerobics, self-defense, personal grooming, self-makeup, photo sessions, table etiquette, personality development, stage presence, public speaking, and Q&A handling. Internationally recognized choreographer Rojin Shakya will provide training in stage performance and catwalk, ensuring world-class preparation.
Event management will be handled by Season Media, a well-known Nepali media organization with over 16 years of experience in hosting large-scale events. The grand finale will also be graced by Nepali celebrities, journalists, social workers, and respected personalities from various fields.
The title winner of Mrs. Nepal Australia 2025 will receive a crown and title, along with the prestigious role of Brand Ambassador for Nepali Tourism Promotion. The winner will also be awarded a travel package to Nepal, while two runner-ups will receive air tickets for a trip to Bali. In addition, Let Me in Korean Skin Hospital Nepal will offer a gift voucher worth NPR 50,000 as part of the prize package.
Beyond the main titles, the event will recognize winners in 15 special categories, with all honorees receiving valuable prizes and the chance to represent Nepal in international-level beauty competitions. The pageant promises to be a dynamic celebration of identity, leadership, and cultural pride.
