Glamour Nepal, It was Nepalese fashion home to initiate with Miss Newa Pageant in 2005 with an aim to preserve, conserve and promote cultural and ethnic value of Newar community through the pageant. Then Newa khala put on the similar effort in Pokhara. Now this year Miss Newa Purwanchal 2014 is on the way. The event is to be organized by WE for change and is aimed to the girls from Newar community residing the eastern region of Nepal.
The audition round is planned to start off from 25th till 31st of Aswin 2071 and the finale is scheduled for Mansir 20th of 2071. As said by the chair person for the organizing team, Mr. Subarna Mohan Palikhe , the audition round is said to be carried in the various places like Ilam, Damak, Dhankuta, Gaikhat, Biratnagar, Dharan, Janakpur and even in Kathmandu. As for the participation the candidate should be in 18 to 23 years age group and should stand at least 5 feet 2 inches. The event would be managed by Rush Entertainment and would be having 25 contestants in the race of the main title awards.
