Live Conversation with Miss Nepal Earth 2018 Priya Sigdel at ‘Speak to me’ by Choreographer Rojin Shakya

On Friday the 9th of July 2021, ‘Speak to Me’ a live online talk show by fashion choreographer Rojin Shakya on social media platform Facebook would be witnessing conversation with Miss Nepal Earth 2018 and Social Entrepreneur, Priya Sigdel.

Priya Sigdel is the winner of Miss Nepal Earth 2018. She was victorious in the respective title during the grand finale of the 23rd annual Miss Nepal beauty pageant held at Hotel D la’ Annapurna in Kathmandu organized by The Hidden Treasure on 11th April 2018. In the event, the lady was also successful to bag the award called Beauty with a Purpose. Later Priya officially represented Nepal at Miss Earth 2018, the grand final of which was been hosted on the 3rd of November 2018 at Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Philippines. In the event, Priya was one of the eighty-eight global beauties who were in the final combat of the 18th season of Miss Earth pageant. In the event, Priya was successful to stand as Top 18 and was victorious at Best Eco Video award. After winning Best Eco Video award Priya automatically was placed in the Top 18.

The award was been judged by the special panels and the delegate who scored the most votes on social media. Likewise, among one of the major preliminary sessions called Intelligence and Advocacy Priya’s performance was able to score the fifth position. In the competition, Priya was also been awarded as Miss DV Boer Ambassadress. She also bagged silver medal in the talent round from Fire Group of the event. With all these achievements Priya has stood as the most successful delegate from Nepal at Miss Earth pageant so far.

Blessed with five feet nine and a half-inch tall figure, 25 years of age Priya hails from Kathmandu. She is also a social entrepreneur and a women activist. She is the co-founder and President of HattiHatti Nepal and country coordinator for UDAAN foundation. She is the former National Coordinator of Bangladesh Nepal Youth Convention 2017. Likewise, the lady is former Vice President at Rotaract Club of Kathmandu Metro. Besides these, she was Global Changemakers 2017 from Zurich, Switzerland, and Global Young Peace Ambassador 2016 Chandigarh, India.

Lately, Priya was also been a part of Miss Universe Nepal 2020 and completed the event as being one of the Top Ten finalists. Priya has also a good social media presence on various platforms. On Facebook, she has 20K followers while she is being followed by 42.4K followers on Instagram whereas her Tik Tok account has 14.3K followers.
