Maitighar Trailer Released: A Family, Culture Drama & Triangular Love Story

Nepali movie Maitighar, produced under the banner of Rohit Adhikari Films Pvt. Ltd., has officially released its trailer. The trailer was launched on Thursday during a special event in Kathmandu.

The film explores a triangular love story intertwined with family and social challenges. From the trailer, audiences can expect a blend of humor and emotional depth, offering both entertainment and heartfelt moments.

Directed by Milan Tamang, Maitighar is produced by Rabin Sherchan and Dhiraj Tamang, with Ishwar Shrestha and Neeraj Katuwal serving as executive producers. The story is written by Chandrakumar Dong, while Ramsharan Pathak has crafted the screenplay and dialogues.

The film is scheduled to hit theaters nationwide on Aswin 13 (September 29, 2025), Phulpati – during the grand Dashain festival.

The star-studded cast includes Kedar Ghimire (Magne Buda), Dhiraj Magar, Prakash Saput, Upasana Singh Thakuri, Shyamashree Sherpa, Buddhi Tamang, Yubaraj Lama, and more. The film’s cinematography is handled by Sushan Prajapati, with editing by Surendra Paudel.

Maitighar also highlights the culture and storytelling of the Tamang community. The music is composed by Chandrakumar Dong, Alish Karki, S.D. Yogi, and the late Jaydev, adding depth to its cultural and emotional narrative.
