Along with the song release, the film production team announced its release date; a date placed just week before Valentine’s Day, clearly aimed at young viewers and love-story fans.
The song is already turning into an attraction. It was first performed live during a grand announcement of the film event, where thousands gathered to witness the introduction of Raut’s new film. The song, sung by Kehar Singh Limbu with his band ‘Kehar and the Lunga’, immediately caught attention online. Within hours of release, it began trending on YouTube and TikTok, especially among Gen-G listeners who have embraced the tune’s soft melody and modern feel.
Kumari marks the lead-role debut of Abhishek Khadka and Aakriti Rajbhandari, a fresh pairing that has sparked curiosity since the posters released and shared online. Music is composed by Limbu along with Suman Tamang and Prashant Siwakoti, while the lyrics are penned by Sagar Lamichhane Magar, Suman Tamang and Yubaraj Kafle.
