Anmol KC and Jassita Gurung Reunite for Cinema Art’s New Film
Popular Nepali actors Anmol KC and Jassita Gurung are set to share the screen once again. Cinema Art, the production banner associated with films ranging from the early Kabaddi installments to Dimaag Kharab, has signed the two actors for its upcoming project, with Suyog Gurung on board as director.
According to producer Raunak Bikram Kadel, an agreement has already been finalized with Suyog Gurung to direct the new film. The production company reportedly completed formal agreements on Thursday with Gurung as well as lead actors Anmol KC and Jassita Gurung.
The announcement marks another collaboration for Anmol and Jassita, whose on-screen pairing has attracted considerable audience interest in recent years.
The two previously worked together in Farki Farki. They later appeared together in Jerry: On Top, also directed by Suyog Gurung. Their reunion in Cinema Art’s upcoming project is therefore likely to generate early curiosity among Nepali movie audiences.
The project also continues Gurung’s working relationship with both actors. He directed Anmol and Jassita in Farki Farki and later reunited with the pair for Jerry: On Top. The three are now coming together once again for Cinema Art’s latest production.
Another New Project from Cinema Art
Cinema Art is a familiar name in Nepali film production. The banner and producers associated with it have been connected with the early films of the Kabaddi series as well as titles including Purano Dunga, Jhumkee, Ghampani, Mr. Jholay, Appa and Dimaag Kharab.
Its projects have regularly drawn attention for their choice of stories, casting and collaborations with different filmmakers.
However, Cinema Art has not yet revealed the title, storyline, genre, additional cast, shooting schedule or release date of the upcoming film.
With Anmol KC, Jassita Gurung and Suyog Gurung confirmed for the project, attention will now turn to the film’s title, story and remaining cast.
Further details about the technical team, additional actors and production schedule are expected to be announced as the project moves forward.
