The teaser of the Nepali film ‘Kalli’ is out and it presents a dark and thought-provoking story. The film is based on the story that both God and a demon live inside every human. Kalli asks a powerful question, what happens when a man kills the god within himself.

Directed by Laxman Sunar and written by Mahesh Dawadi, the film shows how values like honesty, discipline, and faith slowly disappear, allowing greed, anger, and violence to take control. The teaser hints that this inner collapse leads to chaos, not just for one man, but for everyone around him.

Kalli features a strong cast led by Saugat Malla and Uttam Pradhan, who returns to Nepali cinema after many years. The film also stars Arpan Thapa, Benisha Hamal, Sulakshan Bharati, Nazir Hussain, Barsha Raut, Begam Nepali, Binod Neupane, Rare Rai, Priyana Acharya, Arjun Gurung, Sanjok Rana, Geeta Adhikari, Kul Bahadur Adhikari, Saraswati Khatri, Uttamraj Pandey and Shyam Magar. Child actors Upesh Dhakal, Manjila Baniya, and Samarpan Khatiwada appear in important roles.

At the end of the teaser, Parikshya Limbu makes a brief appearance. The film team has introduced her as a special role, creating curiosity about her character.

The film’s music is composed by Aashish Aviral, Sarit Rai, and Ketan Kshetri, while cinematography is handled by Nisal Poudel. The background music plays a key role in building the film’s dark mood. Action scenes are designed by NB Maharjan.

The film produced under the banner of Lekali Entertainment and Kasturi Production is set for theatrical release on Fagun 01 (February 13, 2026).
