Anmol KC and Jassita Gurung in ‘Kurauni’ song from the movie ‘Jerry on Top’
Nepali film Jerry on Top, slated for release on October 17 (Ashoj 31), has unveiled its second song, Kurauni. The track, written and composed by celebrated musician Kali Prasad Baskota, embraces a vibrant Tamang Selo rhythm. The duet is performed by Kali Prasad Baskota himself alongside Somiya Baraili, blending traditional Nepali beats with a modern cinematic vibe.
The music video features the film’s lead cast including Anmol KC, Jassita Gurung, Aanchal Sharma, and comedian Kedar Ghimire (Magne Buda). Shot by cinematographer Dulip Regmi, the video is choreographed by Kiran Thapamoh, with editing by Nimesh Shrestha and color grading by Kapil Parajuli.
Directed by Suyog Gurung, Jerry on Top stars Anmol KC, Aanchal Sharma, Jassita Gurung, Kedar Ghimire, Bhuvan KC, Usha Khadgi, and features actress Sushma Pant in a special role.
Backed by Ananya Films under the presentation of Saroj Nyaupane, the film is produced by Robin Sherchan, Ramkrishna Shrestha, and Deepak Bhandari, with the story penned by Hemraj BC. The film’s soundtrack lineup includes Kali Prasad Baskota, Jayan J Waiba, Johan Chamling Rai, and Brijesh Shrestha.
