Singer Eleena Chauhan and Rachana Rimal alert fans about fake Facebook accounts misusing their names.
Popular Nepali singers Eleena Chauhan and Rachana Rimal have raised serious concerns after discovering fake Facebook accounts created in their names to scam people for money.
These fake accounts have been sending messages claiming financial hardship after the recent Gen Z movement and requesting monetary support. Both singers shared screenshots of such messages on their verified Facebook pages, urging fans and the public not to send any money, and to immediately block or report such accounts.
Eleena Chauhan wrote:
“I have been informed that some individuals are misusing my Facebook identity to collect money. Please be alert and do not fall for such scams. If you receive suspicious contact from any account, block or report it immediately.”
Similarly, Rachana Rimal clarified that she has never asked for financial help and warned people against such fraudulent activities. She stated:
“My photo and name are being used to open fake accounts and scam people. Please stay vigilant. I have not asked for money, and I strongly request those behind such activities to stop immediately.”
This incident has once again highlighted the growing risks of online scams and fake social media identities, reminding fans and internet users to stay alert and verify before responding to any financial requests online.
