Drishyam: The Conclusion Trailer Pits Ajay Devgn Against Jaideep Ahlawat in Vijay Salgaonkar’s Final Battle

Ajay Devgn returns as Vijay Salgaonkar in ‘Drishyam: The Conclusion’, where Jaideep Ahlawat’s relentless SP Rajveer Singh Tomar reopens the battle over a secret Vijay has protected for years.

Ajay Devgn Faces His Toughest Investigator Yet in ‘Drishyam: The Conclusion’

The game is not over for Vijay Salgaonkar. The trailer for ‘Drishyam: The Conclusion’, the final chapter in Ajay Devgn’s hugely popular Hindi crime-thriller franchise, has been unveiled, promising another tense battle of intelligence, deception and survival.

Released at an event in Goa, the trailer brings Vijay back into the shadow of the murder case he has spent years trying to bury. This time, however, he faces a formidable new investigator who appears determined to dismantle every layer of the story Vijay carefully constructed to protect his family.

Actor Jaideep Ahlawat joins the franchise as Crime Branch SP Rajveer Singh Tomar, emerging as Vijay’s most significant new adversary.

Jaideep Ahlawat Raises the Stakes

The trailer positions Rajveer Singh Tomar as a relentless officer unwilling to accept the unanswered questions surrounding the old case.

His investigation once again puts the Salgaonkar family under pressure, while Vijay appears prepared to go to extreme lengths to keep his family safe.

What follows is a classic Drishyam-style battle of minds, with both men attempting to stay several moves ahead of each other.

The trailer hints that evidence from the past may resurface, old secrets could be reopened and the carefully protected version of events surrounding the Salgaonkars may finally come under its toughest test.

Tabu Returns as Meera Deshmukh

The concluding film also brings back several familiar faces from the earlier instalments.

Tabu returns as IG Meera Deshmukh, whose personal connection to the case has remained one of the franchise’s strongest emotional conflicts.

Shriya Saran reprises her role as Vijay’s wife Nandini Salgaonkar, while Rajat Kapoor returns as Mahesh Deshmukh.

The cast also includes Prakash Raj, Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav and Kamlesh Sawant, alongside Ajay Devgn and Jaideep Ahlawat.

Their return gives the final chapter a direct connection to the events and emotional consequences established across the previous films.

A New Story for the Hindi Franchise

One of the most interesting aspects of Drishyam: The Conclusion is that the Hindi film is not being presented as a direct recreation of the Malayalam Drishyam 3 storyline.

Ajay Devgn has said that the Hindi conclusion follows a story that is completely different from the Malayalam version, giving audiences who are familiar with the original franchise another reason to remain curious about Vijay Salgaonkar’s fate.

The story has been developed by director Abhishek Pathak, with the screenplay involving Aamil Keeyan Khan, Abhishek Pathak and Parveez Sheikh.

That creative decision could prove particularly important for the franchise, as viewers who already know the Malayalam films will not necessarily know how the Hindi version ends.

The Mystery Continues After ‘Drishyam 2’

The new film carries forward the tension established in Drishyam 2, where Vijay once again managed to stay ahead of investigators despite renewed efforts to expose what had really happened.

But the trailer for The Conclusion suggests that his past is far from secure.

Rajveer Singh Tomar appears determined to revisit the case without being influenced by earlier assumptions, creating a fresh threat for a man whose greatest weapon has always been his ability to anticipate what investigators will do next.

Whether Vijay still has another plan hidden away is the mystery the trailer carefully preserves.

The Journey That Began in 2015

The Hindi Drishyam franchise began in 2015 with Ajay Devgn playing Vijay Salgaonkar, an ordinary family man who uses extraordinary presence of mind to protect his loved ones after they become connected to a serious crime.

The film was adapted from the acclaimed Malayalam original starring Mohanlal and quickly developed its own strong audience in Hindi cinema.

Its sequel, Drishyam 2, arrived in 2022 and became a major box-office success, strengthening the franchise’s reputation as one of Bollywood’s most popular suspense-driven film series.

Now, Drishyam: The Conclusion is being positioned as the closing chapter of Vijay Salgaonkar’s story.

Directed by Abhishek Pathak, the film is presented by Star Studio18 and produced by Panorama Studios.

‘Drishyam: The Conclusion’ is scheduled to release in cinemas on October 2, 2026.

After years of staying one step ahead of the law, Vijay now faces the question that will define the franchise’s final chapter: can he protect his family one last time, or has he finally met the investigator capable of breaking his perfect plan?
