Catalina Duque of Colombia won the Miss International 2025 title in Tokyo. 80 contestants from across the globe competed for the crown in the pageant.
Tokyo lit up with excitement as Catalina Duque from Colombia claimed the Miss International 2025 crown during a dazzling finale held at the historic Yoyogi National Stadium 27 November. Her calm presence, graceful walk, and strong advocacy work helped her rise above contestants from around the world.
The night wrapped with Yolanda Cimbarami of Zimbabwe taking the first runner-up spot, followed by Paola Guzman of Bolivia as second runner-up, Meliza Xaviera Yulian of Indonesia as third runner-up, and Myrna Esguerra of the Philippines as fourth runner-up.
This year’s edition brought a stronger focus on global responsibility. The Top 20 contestants first competed in swimsuit and evening gown rounds, while the Top 10 delivered powerful public speeches highlighting their initiatives centered on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) from climate action and clean energy to gender equality and youth empowerment. Catalina’s message on education access and community uplift stood out for its heart and clarity.
The event featured vibrant cultural performances, a new digital voting segment, and a refreshed stage design inspired by Japanese minimalism. Organizers also introduced a “Beauty for Action” segment, where delegates showcased real projects they’ve led in their home countries.

Nepal’s Urusha Bhandari proudly represented the country this year. Although she did not proceed to the Top 20, she gained warm applause for her confidence, her national costume inspired by Nepali heritage.
