Miss Universe Nepal 2020, Anshika Sharma has proceeded to compete at Miss Universe 2020. The lady has departed to the United States to represent Nepal at the 69th edition of Miss Universe 2020 being held in Florida, United States. The finale of the event is scheduled for May 16 2021 at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, United States. Along with Anshika Sharma from Nepal, more than seventy global beauties would be competing for the most coveted title of the 69th edition of Miss Universe. Among one of them Zozibini Tunzi of South Africa, the reigning queen of Miss Universe, will crown her successor at the end of the event.

Earlier, Anshika Sharma, a 24 years of age Nepali residing in Sydney, Australia, was crowned Miss Universe Nepal 2020 in the grand finale of the event showcased at Kathmandu Marriot on 30th December 2020. In the event, Anshika earned the crown of Miss Universe Nepal 2020 worth Rupees 15 Lakhs. The exclusive crown was beautifully been designed and crafted by Apala Jewels. As the prize of being the winner Anshika bagged rupees ten lakhs.
Recently, Miss Universe Nepal organization launched ‘Anshika Education Welfare Foundation’ during a press conference for which the diva has invested 10 Lakh rupees of her prize money in order to not only set up the foundation but also support 14 children from four different schools from her hometown Jhapa. The children would be receiving support from the foundation in terms of school fees, clothes, nutritious food, accommodation, travel, medicinal support for girls’ health-related issues, and other primary requirements to access quality education.
