From singing to modeling, Ramita Bhandari tops every field

Born in Hetauda and living in Kathmandu, Ramita Bhandari is a talented girl. After unveiling her album ‘Teenage Girl’ at an age of 15 years, she is busy in entertainment field ever then.

Her role has been expanded to VJ from song writer, musician, singer and model. She was crowned ‘Miss Hetauda’ during ‘Mr and Miss Hetauda-2001’ before participating in‘Miss Nepal’ in 2002. She then came to Kathmandu and won title of ‘Best Model of the Nation’ in a competition. She has modeled in dozens of music videos, advertisements and fashion shows.

Ramita, who has acted in music videos of singers Ram Krishna Dhakal and Deepesh Kishore Bhattarai among other, has also garnered experiences as an event manager. Standing 5 foot 7 inch Ramita, now plans to concentrate her career in only one field. “Now, I will be active only in music field,” said Ramita who is unveiling her second solo album ‘ Play It’ next month, “ Success of ‘Black Handsome Body’ music video has provided me energy to continue in singing.”

Songs of pop, rap, R n B can be heard in her second album. She is also preparing to make public collection of songs, stories and essays penned by her. Ramita, who has worked as a VJ for ‘Desh Pradesh’ telecasted through Nepal Television, practices enhancing her singing skills in free time.
