The Model Super Star 2024 competition concluded with a dazzling grand finale held at Boudha Heritage, Kathmandu, where emerging modeling talents showcased their skills, fashion sense, and charisma.
The event brought together a total of twenty-three female and fourteen male aspiring models, who competed through a series of glamorous rounds, each highlighting their poise and style.
The participants graced the runway in stunning creations by renowned fashion designers Durga Bista, Sajina Bista, and a team of designers from Chitwan, led by Samikshya Lamichhane. The vibrant designs, coupled with the models’ confidence, created a captivating display of modern fashion trends, making the event a visual spectacle.
In the male category, twin brothers Shishir and Basanta Lamichhane were crowned the winners, earning the top spot for their outstanding performances. In the female category, the title of Model Super Star 2024 was awarded to Prashansha Budhathoki, who impressed the judges with her elegance and confidence.
The winners were felicitated by the organizing committee, comprising Ramesh Shahi, Sanjay Rauniyar, and Pramila Silwal, who praised the participants for their talent and determination.
In addition to the main titles, the competition also recognized several other exceptional talents. Alisha Basnet secured the position of first runner-up in the female category.
Special awards were given to notable participants, with Sushmita Shrestha, Alisha Lo, and Manisha Rajbanshi each receiving the Organizer’s Choice award. The titles of Mr. and Miss Multimedia were awarded to Prabesh Pandey and Alisha Basnet.
The award for Best Dressed Male and Female went to Aakash Jha and Prashansha Budhathoki. In the category of Disciplined Male and Female, Rajiv Maharjan and Aayushma Upreti stood out. Tsewang Sherpa and Kalpana Mahato won the prestigious Best Walk award.
The event also featured a showcase of stylish collections, including a variety of blinds from Paradise Blind and a chic jeans collection from Negro Denim Nepal, adding to the glamorous ambiance of the show.
Model Super Star 2024 was presented by Smart Guff app in association with Image Maker Pvt. Ltd., with ICS (Innovation Communication System Pvt. Ltd.) serving as the main sponsor. The event was choreographed by Rojin Shakya, a well-known fashion choreographer and media personality; whose expert direction ensured the show ran smoothly and professionally.
Adding to the excitement of the evening were entertaining performances by popular artists Ram Chandra Kafle, Sapan Shrestha, and comedian Jeetu Nepal, whose acts captivated the audience and contributed to the overall lively atmosphere of the event.
