Sunakali won Audience Choice Award at Toronto Nepali Film Festival and received USD 1,000.
Journalist Bhojraj Bhat’s documentary film Sunakali has received third time an international award. The documentary won Audience Choice Award at the Toronto Nepali Film Festival and received USD 1,000.
The film had received ‘Best ICIMOD Mountain Film Award’ carrying a purse of USD 1,000 and a prestigious jury award at the Katmandu International Film Festival (KIMFF).
Sunakali is directed by Journalist Bhat had received the jury award under nature and culture genre in the International Mountain Film Festival held from February 23-27 in Slovenia.
The documentary tells the story of 13-year-old girl Sunakali of Mugu and her team and their victory outside the district in football.
