Kathmandu witnessed a dazzling finale of The Hidden Treasure Miss Nepal 2023, where Srichchha Pradhan, a 23-year-old contestant from the capital city, emerged victorious as Miss Nepal World 2023, defeating twenty-three other talented competitors. Srichchha, who holds a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts/Science, is not only a conservationist but also a content writer and the founder of Deego Pranali.
The highly anticipated event also crowned Raina Majgaiya, a 26-year-old commercial pilot from Dang, as Miss Nepal Earth 2023, and Prasiddhi Shah, a 25-year-old with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from Lalitpur, as Miss Nepal International 2023.
In addition to their titles, the top three winners received several awards. Srichchha Pradhan was honored with the Farmasi Face of the Year award, Raina Majgaiya secured the titles of Cetaphil Miss Healthy Skin, and Prasiddhi Shah was recognized as the Real Fizzin Miss Popular Choice.
The grand event, held at the Godavari Sunrise Convention Center, also celebrated other remarkable contestants. Pragya Bajracharya was crowned Brij Cement Miss Confident, Grishma Adhikari earned the title of Berger Miss Glamour, Aishworya Shrestha was recognized as The Kathmandu Post Miss Intellectual, and Dabur Honey Miss Fitness Queen went to Suhani Khadka Chhetri. Unnati Gurung was honored as Yeti Airlines Woman with Wings, Srichchha Pradhan received the Miss DHI title, Aayushma Baral was named The Hidden Treasure Beauty with Purpose, and Pritika Khadka was awarded Creative D Miss Photogenic.
The panel of judges included notable personalities such as Cabinet Shrestha, the President of Agni Group; Namrata Shrestha, Miss Nepal World 2020; Rojina Shrestha, Miss Nepal Earth 2017; Shrujana Shrestha, Director of Absolute Aesthetic Clinic; Aanchal Sharma, an actress; Purna Man Shakya, President of the Supreme Court Bar Association; Neelesh Man Singh Pradhan, Chief Executive Officer of Nepal Clearing House; Dil Bhusan Pathak, a prominent media personality; Binayak Shah, President of Hotel Association of Nepal; Gyanendra Malla, a cricketer; and Neeru Rayamajhi, President of the Federation of Women Entrepreneurs.
The contestants mesmerized the audience with their stunning outfits created by renowned designers Ramila Nemkul from KASA, Sushma Singh from Women’s Planet Boutique, and Manish Rai.
The introduction round wardrobe for Miss Nepal 2023 was meticulously crafted by a talented team of fashion graduates from IIFT, including Geeta Mishra, Pampha Shrish, Supriti Byanjankar, Sudina Bajracharya, Regisha Maharjan, Dilmaya Magar, Sonal K.C., Barsha Panta, Syamuel Akontansha, Sanjeeta Baral, Darpana Khati, Rajan Shah, and Biplav Raj Naag Nahar. The event was directed and choreographed by Rachana Gurung Sharma, adding an extra touch of elegance and finesse to the entire spectacle.
