The makers of the most-anticipated Nepali love story Kumari have dropped a new song “Doko Bunne”, adding fresh folk rhythm ahead of the movie’s big release. The track was unveiled at a press meet held at One Cinemas, New Baneshwor and is already trending on YouTube and music charts in Nepal and abroad.
After the success of earlier tracks like “Kata Chhau Mero Phool” and “Timi Bina…”, the production team has brought a folk-style flavor to Kumari’s music collection.
“Doko Bunne” is sung by Kehar Singh Limbu, with lyrics by Sagar Lamichhane Magar and Suman Tamang. The music is composed by Suman Tamang and Kehar Singh Limbu, and the track is mixed and mastered by Rikesh Gurung.

The song video shows lead actors Abhishek Khadka and Aakriti Rajbhandari in nostalgic, old-style visuals, bringing a traditional and emotional touch to the story of young love. Choreography by Shishir Khati adds movement and charm to the visuals.
At the event, director Dinesh Raut said he is returning to pure love stories after focusing on social themes in films like Prasad, Prakash, and Pujar Sarki. Raut, known for hits like I Am Sorry, November Rain, and Classic, described Kumari as a film rich in Nepalese culture and original music.
Writer Bikash Subedi added that the song captures the heart of the film and will pull audiences into its love story.
