Priyanka Rani Joshi Became New Miss Nepal World 2022

In the grand finale of The Hidden Treasure Miss Nepal 2022, leaving behind her twenty-three competitors 24 years of age Priyanka Rani Joshi from Kathmandu, became victorious to wear the crown of Miss Nepal World 2022. Earlier Priyanka was been the runners-up for En Vogue 2016. Priyanka holds Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and English.

In the finale, Dr. Sareesha Shrestha bagged the title of Miss Nepal Earth 2022 while Nancy Khandka was elected as Miss Nepal International 2022. Earlier Sareesha was been first runners-up for Miss Newa 1138 and the winner of Miss Rotaract 2019 whereas Nancy Khadka was been forth runners-up for Miss Universe Nepal 2020.

The top three winners of Miss Nepal 2022, Miss Nepal World Priyanka also earned Miss Delight award while Miss Nepal Earth Sareesha also bagged Miss Confident, and Miss Nepal International Nancy was also awarded Miss Popular Choice.

The event hosted at Godawari Sunshine Convention Center saw Rose Kandel as Miss Beautiful and Miss Intellectual, Mamta Dhakal as Miss Photogenic, Sophia Shrestha as Miss Glamour, and Ganga Gurung earned Face of Farmasi. Smarika Sharma scored the victory at the award called Beauty with the Purpose.

The panel of Judges included Anushka Shrestha, Miss Nepal 2019, Bhusan Chand former Lieutenant General, Niti Shah, Miss Nepal International 2017, Dr. Balram Pathak, Poonam Ghimire, Miss Nepal 1996, Kishor Maharjan, Lakpa Tamang, Dipak Thapa, Ayusha Shakya, actor Nischal Basnet and Make-up artist Lemi Tamang.

The event was been choreographed by Rachana Gurung Sharma. The finale saw contestants wearing the designs by Ramila Nemkul from KASA, Manish Rai, and Sushma Singh from Women’s Planet Boutique. The Introduction round wardrobe for the Miss Nepal 2022 was been created by the team of Peshal Khadka, Pampha Sreesh Magar, Sangi Acharya, Geeta Mishra, Sabita Maharjan, Sarita Shrestha, Dilmaya Magar, Rajan Shah, Sabita Chemjong and Sunaina Shahi, the fashion graduates of IIFT.
