The official teaser of the Nepali film Pariwartan has been released. The teaser released just in time for the Chhath festival, making it a perfect festive treat for movie lovers. The film is scheduled to release in cinemas on the 9th of Magh (23 Jan 2026).
The film directed by Bijay Kerung, features casts Sushil Shrestha, Anjana Baraili, Karishma Manandhar, Buddhi Tamang, Subhash Meche, Saroj Khanal, Hemant Budhathoki, Pukar Bhattarai, and many more popular faces.
In the teaser, Sushil Shrestha appears in a fierce, action avatar, something fans have been waiting to see again.
The visuals show today’s youth standing up against corruption, injustice, oppression and shouting one powerful message: It’s time for change.
During the teaser launch event, the film’s producer and story writer Deepak Shiwakoti said Pariwartan is a voice for patriotic youth who want to make Nepal better. ‘The future change will come only from the youth,’ he added. ‘Our film carries that message and aims to awaken society.’

Director Bijay Kerung also shared the similar sentiment. He said the teaser already hints at the film’s heart, a story of rebellion, responsibility, and reform.
The film written by Shivam Adhikari, also features music by S.D. Yogi, action direction by Shree Shrestha, cinematography by Shiva Dhakal, and editing by Bande Prasad. Pariwartan will be distributed by RR Films, with OSR as the digital partner.
