Nepal has once again made its mark on the global stage, as two of its representatives achieved remarkable victories at the Miss World Tourism 2025, held in Bali, Indonesia, from August 25 to 29.

Representing Nepal with pride and elegance, Rebika Thapa Magar from Lamjung, Gandaki Province, was crowned Miss World Tourism Asia 2025. Her journey began with her victory as Miss Grand Gandaki at Miss Grand Nepal 2025. Carrying forward that success, Rebika competed in Bali as Miss South Asia and impressed judges with her grace, intellect, and advocacy for culture and tourism. Her achievement positions her as a key ambassador promoting tourism across the Asian region.
Joining her in this moment of glory, Garima Gurung from Belbari, Koshi Province, also excelled on the international stage. After securing the title of Miss Grand Tourism Nepal 2025 and winning the Miss Active Award at Miss Grand Nepal 2025, Garima represented Nepal with passion and charm. At Miss World Tourism 2025, she received two major recognitions: Miss World Tourism Popularity 2025 and Miss World Tourism Elegance 2025. Her poise, elegance, and commitment to promoting Nepal’s cultural diversity and natural beauty earned admiration from the global audience.

Both Rebika and Garima received extensive orientation and grooming from renowned fashion choreographer and media personality Rojin Shakya, whose mentorship played a vital role in preparing them to confidently compete at an international level.
Adding further to Nepal’s pride, Lucky Ram K.C., National Director for Nepal at Miss World Tourism, accompanied the delegates to Bali. His presence extended beyond the national level, as he was also honored to serve as a member of the international jury panel, contributing to the evaluation of participants from around the world.
These achievements highlight Nepal’s growing presence in global beauty and tourism platforms, reinforcing the country’s image as a land of cultural richness, natural beauty, and talented individuals shining on international stages.
