Rojin Shakya | After a successful performance at domestic and international scene of beauty pageant, Nagma Shrestha is all set to explore new journey, this time for Miss Eco Universe 2016.
The pageant was initiated a year back in 2015 with an aim to search an emissary for environmental causes. The 2nd edition of Miss Eco Universe would take in Egypt from 27th of March 2016 till 15th of April 2016. Around sixty beautiful delegates from different corners of the globe would be the part of the event.
Along with the glittering tiara of Miss Eco Universe 2016, the winner would be awarded with the cash of USD 10,000. The first edition of this event was been represented by Prinsha Shrestha.
Earlier, Nagma Shrestha successfully completed her participation at 27th edition of World Miss University 2016 held at Beijing, China in the month January 2016. In the pageant she was crowned as third runner-ups and was also able to grab Miss Fitness awards. Nagma was also appointed as the Peace Ambassador for 27th World Miss University peace service corps.
Regarding her take off in the pageant world, Miss Nepal Earth 2012 and Television programme producer and presenter at Image Channel, 24 years of age Nagma Shrestha has successfully represented Nepal at Miss Earth 2012 where she ended as the top 8 finalists. She is also the goodwill ambassador of Child Reach Nepal and Ujayalo Foundation and is actively involved in social works. Nagma was also the winner of Miss Colleges 2009.
