Like other fields, fashion, modeling, and pageantry field has also been adversely affected by the global pandemic COVID-19. All most all the fashion and pageant related activities are been rescheduled, postponed, or halted. Though some have tried with the virtual concept of presenting the fashion and pageant related events but seems not been able to be effective as it was been assumed.
Here comes another event based on the online concept of participation, performance, and judgment. This time is based on Tik Tok. Chitwan based institution; The GMI has introduced the competition named as Mr. & Miss Tik Tok Nepal. The competition is announced for Nepalese residing anywhere and can participate following the prescribed rules set by the organization. After registering oneself for the competition one needs to upload the Tik Tok video made from any dialogue or song. The winners are said to be decided on the basis of a panel of jury, SMS, and online voting.
The competition would be conducted in different phases and elimination format until finalizing the top ten finalists. The winners would be offered with the opportunity in the movie, music videos, web series, and cash prize till 1.5 lakh rupees. The enrollment for the competition is opened till 29th September 2020.
