In the pageantry scene of Kathmandu a fresh event called Miss Republic Nepal 2016 was recently been held.
Having fifteen contestants the first season of this event saw Mona Amatya as the winner. Besides being the winner Mona was also successful at the awards of Most Popular and Miss Cultural.
In the event Manisha Thapa was positioned at first runner-ups and Mausam Thapa was chosen as the second runner-ups. Manisha was grabbed the award of Miss Intelligent while Mausam was also chosen as the winner of Miss Catwalk award.
The event organized by Yala Event Solutions was been presented at Rastriya Naachghar, Jamal while choreography part was been handled by Rohiyaa Maharjan.
