15th season of Miss Newa Pageant Opened

The premiere pageant in the ethnic category, Miss Newa pageant is all set for the search of its new queen. An ethnic beauty pageant where beauty, talent and culture come together as a package, The 15th season of Miss Newa pageant is right on the floor. The audition is called out on 28th of February 2020 at Siddhartha Cottage, Tinkune, Kathmandu.

Miss Newa Pageant is being organized by Nepalese Fashion Home since 2005 with an aim to contribute in the promotion and proliferation of language, art, culture, tradition, ethnicity of Newar community in the best possible way it could be. If you belong to Newar Community and have confidence, zeal and enthusiasm to explore and prove yourself this could be the right opportunity for you to try out.

This year the event winner would be awarded with cash prize of rupees one lakh. The grooming and choreography session would be done by International choreographer and media person Rojin Shakya while Nepal Bhasa classes and Newar culture orientations would be done by former Miss Newa and media person Sunita Dongol.

So far Sabita Shrestha, Subita Pradhan, Supriya Tuladhar, Akasha Bajracharya, Yogita Maharjan, Sujina Shakya, Sunita Dongol, Sudina Shrestha, Alisha Bajracharya, Sarina Sthapit, Angel Shretha, Ishu Shrestha, Riju Manandhar and Nitu Dongol have won the award of Miss Newa.
