8th edition of Miss Nepal Peace has officially begun, opening its doors for who want to grow as leaders and boost their confidence. Nepal’s only beauty pageant dedicated to the health sector, the event carries the strong message “Strong Women, Strong Nation.”
Miss Nepal Peace has been running for several years as a platform that highlights the contribution of nurses and nursing students. It aims to promote peace on a global stage while encouraging those in the nursing profession to take on bigger social and professional responsibilities.
According to organizer Next Models Nepal, the competition has already opened applications, and the auditions will begin on December 20, 2025. Nurses and nursing college students aged 17 to 28 from any part of the country can apply. The application form is available through the Khalti app, and the audition time and venue will be announced soon.
This year’s winners will get the chance to represent Nepal on major global stages 2026, Miss Global in Thailand, Miss World Peace in China, and Miss Planet International in Vietnam. Along with the main crowns, several sub-titles will also be awarded.
Next Models Nepal president Ravi Dhamala said they expect strong participation from nurses working in more than 100 hospitals and around 50 nursing colleges nationwide.
Managing director Yatna Pandey added that shortlisted contestants will go through intensive training in communication, personality development, motivation, leadership, dress etiquette, public speaking and career guidance until the grand finale.
Miss Nepal Peace has grown steadily over the years, becoming a respected platform that celebrates the dedication, discipline and compassion of Nepal’s nursing community while helping them step into leadership roles both in and beyond healthcare.
