Miss & Mrs. Gurung 2025 beauty pageant concluded with grandeur in Kathmandu, celebrating the rich cultural heritage, talent, and confidence of the Gurung community. The fourth edition of the event recognized outstanding women who showcased not only their beauty but also their personality, intellect, and leadership.
The highlight of the evening was the crowning of Supriya Gurung as Miss Gurung 2025 and Maya Gurung as Mrs. Gurung 2025, marking a proud moment for both winners and their supporters.
In the Miss Category, Supriya Gurung took home the crown of Miss Gurung 2025 along with the Personality Award. Anita Gurung was named First Runner-up and also won the Charming and Talent Awards. Isha Gurung earned the Beautiful Award and secured the Second Runner-up position. Other winners included Suma Gurung, who received the Photogenic Award; Phulmaya Gurung, crowned Public Choice Winner; Anita Gurung, who also became First Runner-up in Public Choice; Sunila Gurung, who secured the Viewer’s Choice Award; and Himali Gurung, recognized with the Organizer’s Choice Award.
In the Mrs. Category, Maya Gurung was crowned Mrs. Gurung 2025 and also won the Personality Award. Maya Devi Gurung became the First Runner-up, taking home the Sincere Award. Ganga Gurung was honored with the Intelligent Award and the Second Runner-up title, while Purnima Gurung received the Leadership Award as Third Runner-up. Muna Ghale secured the Friendship Award and stood as Fourth Runner-up. Mina Gurung impressed the judges with her performance to win the Talent Award, and Melina Gurung bagged three titles, Photogenic, Beautiful, and Organizer’s Choice.
Through online voting via the Jinopay App, Muna Ghale was declared Public Choice Winner in the Mrs. Category. Nanda Gurung became First Runner-up (Public Choice), and Kumari Ghale earned the Viewer’s Choice Award.
The glamorous finale was held at The Blue Pavilion, Police Club, Exhibition Road, Kathmandu, under the banner of S.K. Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., led by social activist, entrepreneur, and politician Shanta Kumari Tamang.
The event was graced by distinguished personalities. Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat, Spokesperson of the Nepali Congress and former Minister, attended as the Chief Guest. Special guests included Urmila K.C., Youth and Sports Minister of Bagmati Province, and Chandra Kuber Khapung, AIG of Nepal Police.
Adding glamour to the evening, the choreography was directed by renowned journalist and fashion choreographer Rojin Shakya. The judging panel featured celebrated figures such as singer Anand Karki, singer Menuka Rai, former DIG Deuti Gurung, veteran actor Saroj Khanal, and Zumba trainer & choreographer Keshav Thapa.
The Miss & Mrs. Gurung 2025 pageant was more than just a competition, it stood as a vibrant showcase of Gurung culture, unity, and women’s empowerment. Contestants impressed the audience with their confidence, intellect, and stage presence, while special awards highlighted unique talents and personalities.
With its dazzling performances, inspiring winners, and enthusiastic participation from the audience, the event has firmly established itself as a significant cultural celebration in Nepal’s entertainment and fashion calendar.
