International martial arts superstar Jet Li, his daughter Jane Li, and renowned Nepali actress Manisha Koirala were among the notable attendees at the grand opening ceremony of Tergar Osel Ling Monastery in Kathmandu.
The special event, held from May 31 to June 4, marked the official reopening of the monastery after years of reconstruction following the devastating 2015 earthquake. The monastery is closely associated with respected Buddhist teacher Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche and serves as an important center for meditation and Buddhist studies.
The presence of Jet Li attracted significant attention, as the actor is known not only for his legendary film career but also for his deep interest in Buddhism and spiritual practice.
