At a time when Nepal Film Technician Association (NEFTA) is preparing to hold ‘Seventh NEFTA Award,’ in Hong Kong, ‘INFA Award-2070’ is scheduled to be organized there six days later.
Top five nominations for 20 different categories have been made public in the capital. During the program Minister for Information and Communications Minendra Rijal said that the award will play important role to uplift the standard of Nepali films.
INFA is organizing the program at the Hong Kong-based Yugal Theater in association with Nepal Club Hong Kong.
President of Nepal Club Hong Kong Rita Gurung expressed her happiness for getting change to organize the first ‘INFA Award’ in Hong Kong. As per the information provided during the program, Chief of Gopi Krishna Movies, producer Uddhav Poudel will be awarded with lifetime achievement award carrying a purse of Rs 5 lakh.
During the nomination unveiling program, comedy artist Jeetu Nepal and Wilson Bikram Rai entertained audience with satires, while Priyanka Karki, Nandita KC, Keki Adhikari, Yashraj Garach, Naresh Veer Singh among others presented dances.
