The use of Fevicryl No stitch fabric glue for sticking beads, stones, sequins, and other fabric on any fabric surface came lively with various garments displayed on the ramp. The brand showcased 6 collections of dresses in three different themes named as traditional, fusion and western wear. All the collections highlighted the impact of embellishments such as ornamental stones and sequins in enhancing the beauty of a simple garment. The show got its official start with the inauguration performed by Miss Nepal 2014, Subin Limbu, the chief guest of the event.The journey of Fashionation 2014 started with the collection of Saris. The colorful and beautiful saris looked more attractive and stylish with the embellishments of ornamental stones, beads, sequins and other works all made possible with the use of Fevicryl no stitch fabric glue. After the saris the three rounds of collection that appeared on the ramp displayed a pair of garments at a time which gave the clear impact of the difference between plain and simple garment designed on one hand and on the other, the garment been enhanced by several embellishments with the use of Fevicryl product. The three rounds brought various ranges of dresses like Ghagra choli, kaftans, anarkalis, kathakalis, modified burkhas, palazoos, white gowns, saris and some others.The event presented by Fevicryl- a brand dedicated to innovation and self expression in fashion and art in association with Namuna College of Fashion Technology was been attended by fashion designers, boutique owners, faculty and students from top fashion designing institutes. Under the Choreography of Rojin Shakya, 16 female models made their way through the runway to display the attires of the entire show.The final round showcased the designs of by the students of Namuna College of fashion technology, where the collection was pashmina shawls, the beauty of which was been enhanced by adorning various embellishments using the Fevicryl fabric glue. Eight of the designers put their effort in the pashmina shawls. Among them appreciating and encouraging the effort, Sanu Namaya was been awarded as the best while Manish Rai and Tanisha Lama were selected for the second and third prize respectively. The winning designers were presented with the awards by Miss Nepal 2014 Subin Limbu and Principal for Namuna College Mrs Gyani Shova Tuladhar.
