Dior has announced a partnership with Italian brand Vespa to bring out an exclusive luxury scooter and a range of complementing accessories. Maria Grazia Chiuri, the creative director of Dior women’s collections, is responsible for the design of the limited edition of The Vespa 946 Christian Dior, a modernized version of the iconic Italian two wheeler, that was originally been presented by manufacturer Piaggio in 2012.
The branded limited edition is said to go on sale in the spring of 2021, initially being available at Dior boutiques in several countries, and thereafter in selected Piaggio group Motoplex stores.
The Vespa 946 Christian Dior, the couture scooter would be launched with a whole collection of accessories, including the complementing helmet and a top case designed to be attached to the luggage rack.
Both of these creations will have the decoration with the emblematic Dior Oblique motif that would also be seen on the scooter’s seat. The matching accessories will be available exclusively in Dior boutiques.
