At the time when people from all walks of life celebrate the Holi festival, artists from filmy sector too celebrate the colorful festival with much gusto and fanfare. Some of the artists were seen busy in Holi special function of different TV channels since early Thursday morning, while others celebrated the festival by forming their own group of Holi revelers.
Actresses Keki Adhikari, Priyanka Karki, director Nilu Doma Sherpa and film writer Shaan Basnyat celebrated the festival with actress Rekha Thapa. Rekha was seen smearing different colors of them. On the invitation of the actress, film distributor and producer Gopal Kayastha, director Sabir Shrestha, actor Karan Thapa, actor Sohit Manandhar, writer and producer Om Pratik, director and member of Film Development Board Suresh Darpan Pokahrel has reached. The environment was electrifying as film artists and journalists danced in the beats of the music.

The Holi program of Chhabiraj Ojha was neither less attractive as compared to that of actress Rekha Thapa. Giving continuity to the tradition set by him, Chhabiraj called celebrities and journalists for Holi festival this year too. Director Rishi Lamichhane, Nawal Nepal, actor Sabin Shrestha, Aryan Sigdel, Hasan Raja Khan, Sudarshan Thapa among others had reached to celebrate the major festival.

Although the relationship between Chhabiraj and Rekha is not so good, most of them playing Holi had desire to play Holi together with them. But, the desire failed to come true. Chhabiraj was seen disappointed as actress Shilpa Pokharel, actress of his film ‘Hawaldar Suntali’ was not present on the occasion.
On the occasion of the festival, films ‘Bhimdutta’ and ‘Punarjanma’ releasing from coming Friday, did publicity. Director of Bhimdutta’ Himgyap Tashi Lama requested all to watch the film.
