Nepali model Astha Pokharel, who was crowned ‘Kingfisher Supermodel-2’ this week, was guest at the party of the Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan on occasion of the Christmas.
She has also posted her photo with the actor and Indian cricketer Yubraj Singh on Facebook. The 19-year-old model kissed the title by defeating nine participants in the final round of the television reality show.
A nursing student hailing from Kathmandu will be featured in the calendar for 2015 to be published by Kingfisher. Models will shoot photos in swimsuit in the calendar to be unveiled by United Brewery owned by Indian industrialist Vijay Mallya.
Many models, which were feature in the calendar, have made their career in Bollywood. In the calendar that was started in 2003, Katrina Kaif, Yana Gupta, Poonam Pandey. Deepika Padukone among others has already been featured.
