Actress Yuna Upreti’s father committed suicide as constitution deadline missed. According to RSS, her father killed himself after the country failed to get new constitution on Magh 8, the deadline to promulgate new statute. 65-year-old father of the actress, Bishnu Prasad, was living with his family at Goldhap, Jhapa.
Locals said that Bishnu, who betted that Nepali Congress and UML will promulgate new constitution on Magh 8 at any cost, was disappointed at the failure of the parties. However, Goldhap Police Post informed that the suicide note has not been found yet.
Bishnu is survived by one son and four daughter including Yuna. Yuna is currently residing in USA, while his elder brother too is in abroad.
Yuna has left Nepali film industry some three years ago.
