Aastha Pokharel competing at ‘Kingfisher Supermodels 2’

Nepali Super model Aastha Pokharel is yet in another international model hunt based on reality TV show named as ‘KINGFISHER SUPERMODELS 2’. The show is been presented by NDTV Good Times and been aired on television from 8th of November 2014. Bollywood star Neha Dhupia playing as an anchor, mentor and the judge to the contestants of this season. The show would be featured in a series of 13 episodes where Aastha will be competing with other 8 stunning contestants to win the show and be the face of Kingfisher calendar along with various other opportunities.

The popular model from Kathmandu, Aastha stands 5ft 9 and half inches tall had taken part in “Asia’s Next Top Model” held in Singapore in 2012 and succeeded in finishing in Top 5. She was also the part of Miss Nepal 2014 and was one of the top 5 finalists. Aastha did represented Nepal at Super Model International 2013 held at Bangkok after she completed as the winner of Super Model International Nepal 2013. She was also the first runner-ups for the first season of Face of Classic Diamond Jewelry. Aastha Pokharel is tagged as contestant no.1 for ‘KINGFISHER SUPERMODELS 2’. The remaining contestants in the race of competition are Dafna Kro, Swapnila Gupta, Nikeeta Bellgard, Erica Correa, Amrita Dasguta, Aishwarya, Mahnaz Damania and Alina Simota.

The show will highlight the lives and personalities of the participating extraordinary models over thirteen episodes. Every episode will have a competition for which industry stalwarts will groom the girls and judge them on the final outcome. So every episode is a contest in itself other than the final winning glory. There will be a gratification at the end of each episode resulting in the girl winning: a magazine cover, face of a brand, product endorsements, designer’s muse, showstoppers, etc.

The models will be seen performing exhilarating tasks such as The Indian Ride , Wrecking Ball, PETA Go Vegan, Typography, Aerial etc. shot by photographers like Atul Kasbekar and Colston Julian and judged by people from the world of fashion like Nikhil Thampi and Amit Sadh.
