After four consecutive years of success of Miss Nepal US pageant and crowning Sujita Basnet, Aastha Shrestha, Bartika Rai and Khusbu Mishra as the winners, Miss Nepal US 2015 is opened for the applicants desiring to join this glorious saga. Initiated and organized by Event Planet Inc., USA with support of E Planet Pvt. Ltd. Nepal, 5th season of the event has called out interested Nepalese women within the age group of 19 to 29 years of age currently residing or being in USA. The interested ones can fill the online forms available at www.missnepalus.com by July 26th 2015.
Miss Nepal US, not only a beauty pageant but also an avenue to promote Nepal’s beauty, culture, significance and support causes on an international platform has found adapting and bringing awareness regarding socio-cultural agendas. This year, enduring the emotions from the recent disaster of earthquake, Miss Nepal US is embracing a theme of “Rebuilding Nepal”. As per this it is said that this edition will primarily be focused on charity for Nepal’s earthquake disaster relief in the hopes of recovering and rebuilding Nepal. In this regard the event is partnering with UNICEF United States Fund and Nepal Government’s PM Earthquake Relief Fund with the commitment of maximum utilization of all collected fund to support the earthquake victims and to contribute towards Rebuilding Nepal.
Furthermore, in an effort to strengthen the Nepalese-American Youth relationship, to give opportunities to those who want to help Nepal, and/or have elaborately formulated relief effort concepts to support the Nepal earthquake victims, this year the event is also exclusive sub-title of Miss Nepal US – Ambassador for American women within the age group of 19 to 29 years of age. Along with the most coveted crown, this year winners of both Miss Nepal US and Miss Nepal US-Ambassador title will get up to 10,000 USD matching founding to support her initiative dedicated to earthquake victims and/or Rebuild Nepal Project.
Furthermore, this year’s event will be hosted by famous American media personality and celebrity Kiran Chetry while finale of Miss Nepal US 2015 would be graced by famous Nepali Bollywood Actress and Goodwill Ambassador of Nepal Government PM Fund for Disaster, Manisha Koirala will her presence.
The grand finale of 5th Miss Nepal US 2015 event is scheduled to be held in New York on August 20th to 22nd 2015 and would be choreographed by Mona Hajarika, former Miss University Gwalior and Bollywood choreographer. Currently she is working with New York based fashion photographer Thomas Wilson.
