The fresh season of Miss Rai pageant has found its new queen. The new queen for Miss Rai pageant was crowned on 17th of March 2016 during the finale of the event. This time Alisha Rai from Khotang was successful to wear the tiara of Miss Rai 2016. In the event Sita Rai, Nishma Rai and Kabita Rai were respectively crowned as first, second and the third runner-ups.
The event organized by Kirat Rai Maulik Kala Sanskriti Kendra had fourteen contestants who performed their best to be the chosen one on the stage of Rastriya Naachghar, Jamal. The event showcased the ethnic and traditional values of Rai Community through dresses, jewelry, language and other elements. The event choreographed by Kirat Bindra did had some musical entertainment to add refreshment in the programme.
