The official trailer of the upcoming Nepali Movie ‘Kaji’ has been released ahead of its nationwide theatrical release on May 22. The 3-minute and 6-second-long trailer was unveiled on Tuesday, offering audiences an emotional glimpse into the film’s story centered on family relationships and personal struggles.
The trailer introduces Bipin Karki in the lead role as “Kaji,” while actress Keki Adhikari appears as “Kajini.” Their on-screen chemistry and emotional moments hint at a story deeply rooted in family values, love, responsibilities, and the changing dynamics within relationships.
Along with emotional drama, the trailer also presents moments of tension, humor, and everyday family life, giving the audience a balanced preview of the film’s tone. The performances of Bipin Karki and Keki Adhikari have already attracted positive reactions from viewers on social media after the trailer release.

Presented by Ram Prasad Rijal under the banner of Rijal & Rijal Production, the film features a strong supporting cast including Garima Sharma, Prakash Ghimire, Hemant Budhathoki, Bishal Pahari, Binod Nyaupane, Rashmi Bhatt, Hiuwala Gautam, Sandip Babu Lohani, Roshi Shrestha, Ganga Sharma, Nawaraj Giri, Buddhi Sagar Khanal, Prashansa Subedi, Kritika Sharma, and child artist Dikshita Aryal.
The movie is directed by Laxman Rijal and written by Pradeep Bhardwaj. Cinematography has been handled by Chintan Rajbhandari, while popular musician Kali Prasad Baskota has composed the film’s music.
The technical team also includes production designer Ojaswi Ojha, color coordinator Shyam Kunwar, sound designer Sagar Aryal, and background score composer Sujil Karmacharya. Ronald Shrestha serves as the creative head of the project, while choreography is done by Kabiraj Gahatraj.
Prakash Hamal is the production head, with Banish Shah as editing supervisor and Bipin Malla as editor. The executive producer of the film is Asim Kafle, while Nehan Rijal and Bikash Raj Joshi are producing the project.
The film will be distributed across Nepal by Shriram Balaji Films. With its emotional family story and strong cast lineup, ‘Kaji’ is expected to attract audiences looking for a meaningful social drama on the big screen.
