Namuna College of Fashion Technology has completed the official model auditions for its 21st Graduation Fashion Show, Anantarūpavitānam – The Infinite Tapestry of Expressions, drawing nearly 200 aspiring models from across Nepal.
The graduation showcase is scheduled for 10 October 2026 at The Plaza, Pulchowk, Lalitpur. Considered one of Nepal’s prominent academic fashion events, the show will bring together emerging designers, models and fashion professionals on a single runway.
During the auditions, participants were evaluated on their runway walk, confidence, posture, expressions, stage presence, personality and overall presentation.
The judging panel included fashion choreographer and NCFT faculty member Rojin Shakya, fashion stylist Asim Ranabhat, fashion choreographer Ajay Gurung, fashion designer Nisha Shrestha, and graduating designer representatives Saman Thapa and Rusana Lwagun.
Models selected from the auditions will now take part in professional grooming, choreography sessions, costume fittings and rehearsals ahead of the main event.
This year’s graduation fashion show is built around the theme “Cosmic Threads of Heritage: Nepal Beyond Time and Universe.” Its Sanskrit title, Anantarūpavitānam, represents the infinite expressions of beauty, identity, culture and creativity that exist beneath one shared universe.
The runway presentation will feature six exclusive collections, 54 original designs and six creative masterpieces developed by the 54 graduating designers of NCFT’s 21st batch.
The graduating students are also leading the organisation and management of this year’s showcase, gaining practical experience in fashion production, presentation and event execution.
Namuna College of Fashion Technology is recognised as one of Nepal’s pioneering institutions in fashion education. For more than two decades, the college has prepared designers who have gone on to work as fashion entrepreneurs, educators, stylists, designers and creative professionals.
Its annual graduation fashion show has developed into an important platform connecting academic learning with professional industry practice. The event offers emerging designers and aspiring models valuable exposure while contributing to the continuing development of Nepal’s fashion industry.
