A concert was organized in the capital to raise money to construct a stupa in Jumla. At the charity show organized on the occasion of Sonam Lochhar on Friday, singers Rajesh Payal Rai, Indira Joshi and Tshering Girmi presented melodious songs.
The concert was organized by the Himalayan Peace Foundation at the Gokarna-based Norling Resort. Chief of Foundation, Karma Tinlen said that all amount gained from the concert will be spend to construct the stupa.
According to him, the total cost for the stupa being constructed at the district headquarters is Rs two croes. Rs 10 lakh has been collected from the concert.
