Sejal Rajbhandari has been crowned Miss Eco International Nepal 2026 and will represent the country in Egypt this April, continuing Nepal’s strong legacy at the global environmental pageant.

Nepal has officially announced Sejal Rajbhandari as the country’s representative for Miss Eco International 2026, scheduled to be held in Egypt this April. The national franchise holder, Green Art Media Pvt. Ltd., officially crowned Sejal during a special ceremony held at The Height Restro and Wellness in Maharajgunj on Thursday evening. The crown was presented by the reigning titleholder, Sanskriti Bhatta, symbolizing the formal handover of responsibility for the upcoming international competition.

Upon receiving the title, Sejal described it as a defining moment in her life and pledged to promote Nepal’s rich cultural heritage, environmental values, and tourism potential on the international stage. She will undergo professional grooming under the guidance of Anila Shrestha, who has served as Nepal’s official National Director since 2015. The global pageant, organized by LTCP Organization, was established in 2015 under the theme “Beauty for Eco,” aiming to promote environmental awareness and cultural exchange worldwide.

Nepal’s journey at Miss Eco International began in 2015 when Prinsha Shrestha participated in the inaugural edition in Egypt. In 2016, Nagma Shrestha officially represented Nepal and earned the Best Tourism Video Award, highlighting Nepal’s natural and cultural beauty. The following year, Ronali Amatya won the Miss Congeniality title, bringing Nepal its first major international recognition in the pageant.

Maunata Lama represented Nepal in 2018, while in 2019, Muna Gauchan achieved a notable Top 20 placement. In 2021, competing as Miss Eco International Nepal 2020, Anushma Rayamajhi secured the prestigious Miss Eco Asia award. Nepal continued its strong performance with Sophiya Bhujel, who placed in the Top 20 in 2022, and Rakshya Upreti, who reached the Top 21 in 2023. Most recently, Sanskriti Bhatta represented Nepal in the 2025 edition, further strengthening the country’s consistent presence in the competition.

Over the years, Nepal has demonstrated steady progress at Miss Eco International through special awards, semifinal placements, and impactful advocacy. With Sejal Rajbhandari preparing to compete in 2026, Nepal continues its commitment to promoting environmental responsibility, tourism, and cultural identity on a prestigious global platform.
