‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol has been taken down from a cinema hall of Mumbai after being screened for 20 years.
The film that went houseful for 20 years at Maratha Theater was taken down from Wednesday after a morning show. The film had celebrated 1000 weeks at the hall on last December.
It is a longest running record of any Indian film. The hall management had taken stance not to take down the film till its runs houseful. The film was removed as per the agreement between Maratha Theater and Yash Raj Films.
