After seasons of backstage partnerships MAC and one of the world’s most acclaimed fashion designer have finally debuted with their highly anticipated make up range. The winner of Council of Fashion Designers of America’s Swarovski Award for women’s wear in 2011 and the one who has since dressed Michelle Obama, Amanda Seyfried, and Kate Middleton, Prabal Gurung has come to life with MAC in an exclusive collection of makeup range having smoky, gilded hues for eyes, lips and cheeks in ultra luxurious, custom gold packaging. 
Gurung’s limited edition features 14 products in total and truly mesmerizing. The collection has three shades of lipstick– Light, English Red, Carmine Rouge and Ultramarine Pink, three ‘lip glosses’ in the same shades and a bronzer.
The collection also includes beautiful eye shadow and blush compacts in luxuriously decadent, gilt compacts in rich, saturated hues of gold, coral, and grey. It also has the eyeliner, cream blush and highlighter. The custom gold packaging with Prabal Gurung is written across – fancy! The collection ranges from $20 – $70 US Dollars. The packaging was inspired by the 1920s and also by the art of Damien Hirst, Sylvie Fleury and Nick Knight.
