Nepali film Paran, directed by Deepak Prasad Acharya (Kaku), has officially revealed its first look poster along with its release date. The film carries the tagline “Saasle Haina, Saathle Chalne” (Life is driven not just by breath, but by togetherness), highlighting the importance of emotional bonds and relationships over mere physical existence.

The first look poster features lead actors Mahesh Tripathi and Anjana Baraili in an intimate embrace, with sindoor on Anjana’s forehead hinting at their marital relationship, though the makers have not confirmed this detail.
Produced under the banner of Bioscope Cinema Pvt. Ltd., a joint venture between Nepal’s prestigious Golchha Group and Prisma Group, Paran is the company’s debut project. Managing Director Ranjit Acharya confirmed that the film is set to mark the beginning of many future ventures under Bioscope’s independent banner.
The film boasts a stellar cast including legendary actor Neer Shah in a key role, alongside Mahesh Tripathi, Anjana Baraili, Madan Krishna Shrestha, Pooja Chand, Keki Adhikari, Praveen Khatiwada, Buddhi Tamang, Yaseli Yonghang, Babin Rai, Pushparaj Ojha, Seema Kafle, Daman Rupakheti, Yaman Shrestha, Subratraj Acharya, Suresh Thapa, Binod Rai, and child artist Aryadeep Acharya.
Director Acharya shared that the team focused on perfecting the film during production and post-production, which is now in its final stage. “Now, we are shifting our energy toward strong promotions,” he added.
Paran features music by Rhythm Kandel, with vocals by popular singers Pramod Kharel, Pushpan Pradhan, and Rachana Rimal. Cinematography is by Shivaram Shrestha, and editing by Mitra D. Gurung. Written by Deepak Acharya, with screenplay and dialogues by Yam Thapa, the film is slated for nationwide release on Kartik 14 (October 31, 2025), right after the Dashain and Tihar festivals.
With a powerful story, celebrated actors, and the backing of top production houses, Paran is already creating curiosity and buzz among Nepali cinema lovers.
