Poster and promo of ‘Raktabhog’, Based on violence against woman, has been unveiled on Thursday.
Member of Nepal Human Rights Commission (NHRC) Mohana Ansari made public the promo and poster of the movie based on the killing of Dhegani Devi of Chitwan district on charge of practicing witchcraft some two years ago.
During the function director BB Phuyal shared his experiences during producing the movie. He said that Dhegani Devi was brutally murdered and the similar scene has been presented in the film, adding that he cried many times remembering the innocent woman.
Film producer Ram Chandra Lamsal announced to donate certain amount of income from the film to the family members of Dhegani Devi. Producer Lamshal informed that the post-production of the film under the banner of KR Films and Entertainment is in final stage and the movie will be released soon.
Actress Sarika KC has played role of Dhegani Devi in the film also acted by Rachana Poudel, Podhraj Poudel, Sailesh Poudel and child artist Bhuvan Nepali among others
