Sosika Basnet crowned as Winner of PABSON Miss Little Idol 2023

Sosika Basnet has been declared the winner of PABSON Miss Little Idol 2023, a competition exclusively dedicated to school-going children. This was Sosika’s second attempt in the competition, as she had previously reached to the top fifteen rounds.


Sosika Basnet, a seventh-grade student at Cambridge Public High School, has been crowned the winner of PABSON Miss Little Idol 2023. The grand finale took place at Rastriya Naachghar, Jamal, Kathmandu, and marked the finale of the Pabson Little Idol 2023 competition, dedicated to school-going children.

This victory came on Sosika’s second attempt in the competition, having previously reached the top fifteen rounds. As the winner, she received a cash prize of thirty thousand rupees.

During the event, Prapti Kunwar, a seventh-grade student at National Blooming Flower Academy, secured the first runner-up position, earning a cash prize of twenty thousand rupees. Bela Maharjan, a sixth-grade student at Cambridge Public High School, emerged as the second runner-up and received a cash prize of ten thousand rupees. Notably, the top three winners were also granted one-year scholarships at their respective schools as part of their winning rewards.

The event was jointly organized by PABSON Kathmandu and Action Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. The contestants showcased exquisite designer wear created by student designers from IIFT Nepal.

The event was choreographed by media personality and fashion choreographer Rojin Shakya and was graced by the presence of the Honorable Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, Mr. Sudan Kirati.

Furthermore, Pratigya Pandey was honored with the title of Miss Talent, Kavya Kumal was recognized as Miss Confident, Sayara Mahat stood out as Miss Personality, and Dibyashree Dhugana earned the title of Miss Leadership. Aarohi Ale Magar captured the title of Miss Photogenic, while Aliana Ali was celebrated as Miss Friendship.
