First ‘Fast X’ Trailer: Revenge on Vin Diesel’s Family


The highly anticipated first official trailer for the next chapter in the Fast & Furious franchise, Fast X, has finally been unveiled. This trailer provides fans with a first look at the film that promises to deliver the same pulse-pounding action and family drama that the series is known for. The theatrical release of Fast X is scheduled for May 19, 2023 and marks the start of the two-part conclusion to the long-standing franchise.

Production for Fast X began in April 2022 and the trailer gives us a glimpse into the story that focuses on the backstory of Dom Toretto, played by the iconic Vin Diesel. The film will flesh out the brotherly conflict between Dom and Jakob Toretto, played by John Cena, with the addition of new cast members such as Hollywood icon Rita Moreno as Dom’s grandmother and Daniela Melchior from The Suicide Squad. The trailer also provides a sneak peek of some of the heart-stopping stunts that have become a hallmark of the series. While many of the details of the plot are still kept under wraps, fans finally have an idea of what to expect from the film.

The Fast X cast will include many characters from across the franchise. Along with Diesel and Cena, the film will feature Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Sung Kang, Nathalie Emmanuel, Charlize Theron, Helen Mirren, Jason Statham, Lucas Black, Shad “Bow Wow” Moss, Jason Tobin, and Anna Sawai. Vin Diesel has also been trying to bring Dwayne Johnson back to reprise his role as Hobbs. Cardi B, who previously appeared in the franchise, has also been confirmed to return for the final installment. The film will also introduce new cast members, including Aquaman star Jason Momoa as the main villain, Brie Larson (Captain Marvel) and Alan Ritchson (Reacher).

Fast X is set to hit theaters on May 19, 2023 and is expected to be a thrilling finale to the franchise. Fans can now watch the new trailer for the film and get a taste of what’s to come.
